Pre-Primary Curriculum
At Mountcrest Academy, our pre-primary curriculum is thoughtfully designed by blending the best of Jolly Phonics, Montessori methods, and daily activities focused on social and emotional development.
Our approach goes beyond joyful learning. We create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children learn with true freedom, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Primary
At Mountcrest Academy, the Primary Programme offers a well-rounded curriculum covering English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Arabic, Kannada, and Hindi. The programme focuses on building strong academic foundations through an inclusive and practical-oriented approach.
A key focus of our primary years is the development of LSRW skills in all languages. Through structured listening activities, guided speaking, regular reading practices, and purposeful writing tasks, students gain confidence and fluency in communication. This strong language foundation supports clear thinking, effective expression, and prepares students for the academic demands of Lower Secondary and the IGCSE curriculum.
IGCSE
Lower Secondary & IGCSE Pathway
At Mountcrest Academy, our Lower Secondary Programme builds seamlessly on the strong foundations laid in the primary years and prepares students for a confident transition into the IGCSE curriculum.
Students engage in core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, and Languages, with a clear focus on deep understanding, skill development, and academic excellence.
Our approach is inclusive, practical, and inquiry-based, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems, and apply their learning to real-world situations. Through projects, experiments, discussions, and independent learning, students become active participants in their own education.
